The Royal Woods - Great Purple Emperor Butterfly Dome - Glass Cloche Terrarium

Welcome to The Royal Woods ✨

A male Great Purple Emperor (Sasakia charonda) rests deep in a mossy forest hollow, housed under glass on a natural wood base. Iridescent royal purple wings with cream spots. This one truly glows when the light catches it, that deep violet that only Purple Emperors have.

Hand-built woodland scene with ethically sourced butterfly, natural moss, lichen, dried lavender, pinecones, and driftwood. Each Mothlight Faery Curiosities dome is one of a kind and made with love in Nashville.

This is one of my favorite larger domes and that purple flash is unreal in person.
